When was the last time, if ever, did Iran allow a rock band from Europe or the US? It seems that despite iran’s dislike of the West, they still want to be connected to it. Iran needs a new government to allow more freedom, that is for sure!
Great to see your posting today on the CDP blog portal! Phew! Glad you’re back to showing us photos from Tehran! Hope “they” don’t turn off the switch again to the internet!
Looks like a great concert attending by many music lovers. I guess you had a balcony seat overlooking “left stage.”
Warm regards from cold, snowy Minnesota
Fantastic shots, and wonderful to see you back at work! Your recent plight has created new awareness and empathy… I pray it was not in vain.
Hello! Amir!
Welcome back. I am very happy to see you again. It is sad to see a journalist arrested. With your freedom light candles lit again this page again.
Pretty nice to see you. I hope the sun will shine the next few days.
Thank you, thank you for your pictures.
Welcome back.
Pax!
Amir!
You have the democratic right to say your opinion about life in Iran. The power in Iran do not like that this is their problems.
We as defenders of human rights define everyone right. If someone violates the rights of Iranian state we defend Iranian state right. If the Iranian state violates the Iranian people we keep Iranian people’s right.
I look here at some type writing Be quiet. You as a photographer have to show the reality.
With the slogan, Long live everybody rights, Yours, Iranian state forward.
God luck in your work!
I really appreciate, as an American, your love of freedom and your window into Iran, a great country with bad government. Just today, Iranian police arrested a well known movie director, whose movies are very good. No reason was given why they arrested him. All iranians should fight for real freedom and their own civil rights. Iranians are no different than Americans, French or other citizens, they want to be free and have open relations with every country. Iranians are oppressed by their own government.

Music is a blessing from G-d. The divine harmonies of the universe occupy a certain plane. At the very centre of Creation is a gentle, pure, stable and benevolent energy. A cosmic symphony ! Well done to the organisers of the Fadjr International Music Festival. May Persia witness many more peaceful and beautiful gatherings in the future. I would love to dance to great sounds under the stars of an expansive Iranian sky one day…
